The Guardians are the first teachers in the spiritual realm.
They pass on the lessons of discipline and hardwork onto the Seekers which allows them to evolve into Monks.
As they evolve they take on traits similar to their mentors.
I have found that in my life I have been blessed with different teachers and situations that give me the opportunity to grow. It's easy to turn down these offers of growth because they require courage and responsibility but they are essential for human flourishing.
